Giving back through a sport that unites the world

This Foundation is supported by local soccer clubs and local businesses throughout the US. Donated gear (example: cleats, shin guards, goalie gloves, uniforms, pinnies, and cones) is hand delivered as checked luggage by friends of TacosForTicos. 

Officially established in 2021.  However, the practice of gifting cleats and soccer gear started in 2003 while playing in a friendly soccer tournament in Jaco, Costa Rica.

To provide gently used cleats, uniforms, 

and equipment to kids in underserved communities throughout Costa Rica.
